Stihl AK 30 S Lithium-Ion Battery

 

Introducing the new AK System battery, set to eventually replace the AK 30. This battery is compatible with all tools in the AK System and works seamlessly with standard chargers (AL 101, 301, 500).

The AK 30 S boasts a new ‘current/time counter’ that automatically boosts maximum power output during peak loads. Despite this enhancement, the battery’s working times remain identical to the AK 30. Please note, this battery is intended for domestic use only.

Current / Time Counter

The AK 30 S features a current/time counter that operates automatically without any user input. When the tool is under peak load, the AK 30 S allows it to request additional power to meet performance demands. This temporary increase in current results in performance peaks.

It’s important to note that this does not mean an overall increase in power. This improvement may only be noticeable in RMA and MSA tools, as they draw higher currents. For other product groups, users will not notice a power increase because the tools do not reach peak load. During everyday use, users will not experience any performance difference compared to the AK 30.

All our products are available to collect from your local Ernest Doe branch. After you have placed your order we will contact you to advise when your order will be available to pickup. This may take 3-5 days depending if your order is subject to a Pre Delivery Inspection*.

Postage rates vary depending upon location within the UK.

  • up to £25 = £4.65 small parcel only second class
  • up to 2kg = £4.95 medium parcel only second class
  • 2kg + = £8.25 via Courier (Mainland UK Only)

Local Delivery

We can offer local delivery to UK customers within a certain radius of our Ernest Doe branches.

  • Standard Local Delivery = £18

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver within the congestion charging zone.

UK Courier

For certain larger products we offer a mainland UK delivery service for a flat rate of £48.00. Available when you see the “courier pallet” delivery option.

*Pre Delivery Inspection - Items marked with the PDI flag indicate that the machine is fully assembled, tested and run up ready to use. Including all oils.
