Peanuts are a vital source of oils, proteins, and energy, and are highly digestible, making them an essential food for various birds. Our peanuts undergo rigorous testing for mould and aspergillus spores before they are used in production. It’s important to feed whole peanuts exclusively from a mesh feeder to prevent harm to small birds and fledglings from large pieces. This is the reason we incorporate Peanut Granules in our wild bird blends instead of whole peanuts.
