We have a range of chainsaws from which you can choose a model which is right for you.

There are electric, petrol and lithium battery models from brands including Husqvarna, Stihl and Bosch. You can use the product selector button to the right of this text to help you make your purchasing decision.

The model of chainsaw you decide to use will depend upon the work you would like it to do. If you expect to be doing smaller jobs close to home, an electric model will work well. However, if you want to work further afield, a petrol or battery model is more practical.

When looking at petrol models, bar size becomes an important feature – in general, the larger the bar, the bigger the tree that can be handled. In the list are models for domestic use and professional use. Professional users work saws more often and over longer periods, and thus usually require a stronger and more expensive machine.

Delivery

Click and Collect Service

All our products are available to collect from your local Ernest Doe branch. After you have placed your order we will contact you to advise when your order will be available to pickup. This may take 3-5 days depending if your order is subject to a Pre Delivery Inspection*.

Royal Mail Post

Postage rates vary depending upon location within the UK.

  • up to £25 = £4.65 small parcel only second class
  • up to 2kg = £4.95 medium parcel only second class
  • 2kg + = £8.25 via Courier (Mainland UK Only)

Postal option only available on selected products and only available within the UK.

Local Delivery

We can offer local delivery to UK customers within a certain radius of our Ernest Doe branches.

  • Standard Local Delivery = £18

Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver within the congestion charging zone.

UK Courier

For certain larger products we offer a mainland UK delivery service for a flat rate of £48.00. Available when you see the “courier pallet” delivery option.

*Pre Delivery Inspection - Items marked with the PDI flag indicate that the machine is fully assembled, tested and run up ready to use. Including all oils.
